The world of electric motorsport is no longer a dream but a reality. There are lots of races with single seaters, rallycross cars and touring cars and they're becoming more and more popular. Circuit Zolder is rightly proud of its wonderful past, but is also looking forward to playing an important role in motorsport in tomorrow's world. With this mission in mind, Circuit Zolder will be welcoming electric motorsport on 8, 9 and 10 July. We will be hosting both the FIA eTOURING CAR WORLD CUP and ERA Series Europe 2022, two all-electric racing series.
FIA eTOURING CAR WORLD CUP
This international all-electric championship was held for the first time in 2021. The revolutionary approach was an immediate success and had an electric shock effect in the world of motorsport.
From 2022, the FIA Formula E World Championship will be the first event to promote electric mobility through electric racing.
